Ms Ong Huey Hong is Assistant Chief Executive, Industry Development Group at the Singapore Tourism Board, where she leads the development of tourism industries including hotels, travel agents, and MICE sectors. Her deep expertise in the hotel sector includes serving as Director of Hotels and Sector Manpower (2015-2019), where she spearheaded the Hotel Industry Transformation Map and drove industry-wide transformation with key stakeholders. She also served on the Hotel Licensing Board and worked closely with MOM and WSG on tourism manpower development initiatives.

As STB's Chief Sustainability Officer, she champions efforts to transform Singapore into a sustainable tourism destination. Her previous roles in STB include Executive Director of Industry Technology Transformation and Director of Cruise. As Director of Cruise, she received the 2013 Rama Rebbapragada Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Cruise Industry in Asia and pushed for the creation of the Cruise Development Fund to accelerate cruise deployment in Southeast Asia.
