Mr James Burton is the Vice President of Asia at Sunset Hospitality Group (SHG). With over 20 years of experience in hospitality, he’s responsible for the strategic growth of the Group’s hospitality ventures into the Asian market.  

As Vice President of Asia, James has driven the company's strategic expansion across the region, overseeing the growth of a diverse portfolio spanning luxury hotels, lifestyle dining destinations, fine dining establishments, and day-to-night hospitality concepts, reinforcing the group's position as a leading hospitality and lifestyle operator in Asia. 

James’ role spans the development of pioneering home-grown concepts and the introduction of renowned global brands to Asia. This includes the successful debut of SUSHISAMBA Singapore, the openings of L’Amo Bistro del Mare, Canning Bar & Lounge and forthcoming Art di Daniele Sperindio and HANU at METT Singapore, with additional projects underway in Vietnam, Thailand and other fast-growing markets.
