Principal
Invictus Developments
Mr Chayadi Karim specialises in reimagining hospitality and investment properties across Singapore, Australia, and Japan. As Principal of Invictus Developments, the family-owned real estate investment company he founded in 2018, he has built a portfolio of distinctive landmark assets—from breathing life into Sydney’s historic Harbour Rocks Hotel to launching The Standard, Singapore in December 2024, a bold lifestyle hotel redefining Orchard Road with its mix of design, culture, and social energy, and acquiring lyf Ginza in 2024, marking the group’s foray into Japan’s hospitality landscape.
Chayadi also founded KINN Hospitality Concepts, a boutique hospitality operator delivering an affordable wellness experience for travellers to Singapore. His investment-led approach, honed through his Finance and Strategic Management (Entrepreneurship) education at Singapore Management University, focuses on transforming under-utilised assets into destinations that anticipate evolving lifestyle and travel trends.
As a Principal of the Karim Family Foundation (KFF), he played a pivotal role in acquiring and restoring the House of Tan Yeok Nee, a National Monument now reimagined as a cultural and lifestyle destination. He also supports the stewardship of the family office,
Harrison Asset Management, overseeing the investment and operational effectiveness and ensuring its portfolio remains resilient and forward-looking. His ambition is to anchor properties as enduring cultural landmarks that speak to the next generation of travellers and communities.
